✒ Poem: Ink Of My Heart

My heart beat sounds dull
to the shivering sound of an old violin.
In a rain of photographs,
all my lost memories and thoughts will get wings.
And they’ll grow.

The time fades your face.
Printed in black and white and fingerprints framed,
looking through the surface,
back in a time, into a world that has changed,
long ago.

My fingertips glide,
reading,
seeking,
over dry paper,
soaked with words.
Words of your mind,
the tears make me blind,
another weak moment
in fleeing time.

I’m living your lines day and night, I can’t sleep.
The pain of my bleeding heart is too deep.
When will you stand up and stand by your words?
You can ́t imagine how much it hurts.
But the pain flies away.

The bird of my soul can ́t fly in a cage.
The ink of my heart fills page after page.
My journal of life contents the truth.
All that I want is, to wake up with you.
Just say, I shall stay…

My fingertips glide,
reading,
seeking,
over dry paper,
soaked with words.
Words of your mind,
the tears make me blind,
another weak moment
in fleeing time.

It’s never too late,
to wait till tomorrow.
If only you would feel,
this sense of belonging,
that you have felt,
when you’ve written these words for me.
