These very easy to make vegetable crisps are not only tasty and healthy, but also a creative way to spoil your party guests and get your kids to eat their greens.

  • Yields: 2-3 Servings

Ingredients

600 g raw Carrots

500 g raw Parsnips

1 pinch Low-Sodium Salt

pinch cracked Black Pepper

Directions

1Choose your roots.

2Wash and peel the carrot and parsnips.

3Then use the Potato Peeler (or any other kitchen aid that has the same result) to create thin slices of the roots.

4Fry the slices in hot vegetable oil, until they look close to crunchy. They will harden fully as they cool.

5Pour them in a bowl to drip them off the remaining oil and salt and pepper them thoroughly. Delicious. Healthy.
